Above are some pieces sculpted from driftwood found along the beaches of Oregon and northern California. I enjoy the scents of the Port Orford cedar, the Incense Cedar and Douglas Fir and other wood I bring into my home and it takes me instantly takes me to the forests along the coast.
The surface interior of each piece has an ultra smooth finish. Each piece has nine sanding steps finishing with a 1000 grit sand paper. The feel is therapeutic.
